California State University of Fresno Wayfinders

Designed specifically for FSU WayFinders, this program provides young adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities ranging in ages from 18-28 with a unique opportunity to develop essential life skills through interactions with horses. By focusing on boundaries, emotional regulation, self-control, responsibility, and respect, this program empowers students to navigate their social environments with confidence.

These students come out to the ranch during our volunteer days and help us accomplish necessary ranch tasks that help keep the ranch running.  They also spend time with our horses, miniature donkeys, dogs and other animals while enjoying lunch.  We are so grateful to have this group of young students supporting our organization and helping them in return.
