Our Community Youth Project is our field trip program with local school districts.  We are currently vendors for both Selma and Fresno Unified School Districts.  This program is designed to help students develop emotional control, build trust, and gain leadership skills through interactions with horses. The structure and discipline of working with horses mirror the lessons they need to succeed in their personal lives. By learning to regulate their emotions and be intentional in their actions, students discover alternative ways to handle the stresses and conflicts they face every day.

The students will start their experience on the viewing deck with Sarah explaining what we are about and what they will be doing.  They will then be offered one by one to come into the round pen and experience time with our mustangs.  Sarah shadows them just to help them communicate with the horse as they learn how to do it themselves.
